Factual: Working worldwide. Photography for newspapers and magazines, internet and book projects, for companies in the context of business communication and for organisations with ethical aims. Photographic productions by order and by self-initiative in the fields of reportage, people, society, travelling, art and culture.

Preparation, organisation and post-processing of photographic projects are realized on request also including the implementation of production if desired: Search for locations, cooperation with experienced experts and cooperation with models. Contacts to professional journalists, editorial offices, agencies, writers, graphic designers and programmers are available.

Personal: My photographic core topics are people and social commitment. I consider my role that of a sideline observer. I want to adapt myself to specific situations, get involved with the person facing me, I should like to bridge gaps, to win confidence, sometimes even become friend and comrade-in-arms. It is important to me to treat other persons with a great deal of sensitivity and always respect their dignity.

I am particularly attached to photography in international contexts, due to several long-term stays abroad, lasting over months or years, for instance in Nepal, Guatemala, Peru, Yemen or Brazil, as well as various short trips within Europe and Africa. My objective is a mutual understanding of different cultures and societies.
